Dan of Herald Tea started the company after a decade of working in specialty coffee shops and farming on the west coast. Dan’s wife Lauren, founder of Mizuba Tea, specializes in premium matcha and heritage green teas from Japan. Dan saw the opportunity to start importing specialty oolongs, blacks, and other teas from Taiwan, China, and anywhere else that was crafting teas of character. Herald Tea always seeks to always source tea straight from origin and  offer fair pricing by working directly with growers and producers.

Ultimately, Herald is here to have fun, and along with all of you, appreciate, learn, and share all we can about the magic that is tea.
