These boro bolo ties are made in Portland, Oregon out of vintage rope from Japan. To make these ropes, as an effort to recycle, scraps of fabric were braided and woven together long ago. They come to us, where we trim and refine them and turn them into something brand new. The fabrics these ropes are made with, as well as the ropes themselves, have already lasted decades, and by turning them into stylish bolo ties, we hope to breathe a new life into them.
