Kasuri, a traditional Japanese fabric, derived from the word “kasureru” meaning “blurred” is created using individually dyed threads that are skillfully woven into the patterns you see here. The kasuri technique creates a really amazing effect: each side of the bandana has a different pattern on it, making it very versatile. One side features small white igeta signs; the other side is a plaid-like pattern.
A quintessential summer accessory, our bandanas will soften with use, to become a treasured item worn throughout the seasons. The fabric is a high quality cotton cloth imported from our Japanese heritage manufacturer.
Each bandana is sewn, pressed and packaged in Portland, Oregon.
