Vintage Kimono(着物): Thin Patchwork
Vintage Kimono, a traditional Japanese robe for both men and women. Worn as an undergarment and overgarment. The word Kimono means "things to wear". These T-shaped robes are wrapped around your body, always from left side to the right. Kimono is always used in festival or formal events in Japan. Unique patterns and colors that showcase beautiful Japanese traditional craftsmanship.
This one-of-a-kind patchwork kimono is over 100 years old, and was made from silk scraps from various other garments. It is thin, most likely worn underneath another kimono. Entirely handsewn, it is truly a piece of art. This jacket is not meant to be worn, but to be displayed.
