Organically grown in a valley called The Village in the Sky, at an altitude of 2,000 feet in Shizuoka. The temperature rises during the day and it cools down during the night. The dramatic swing in the temperature gives the tea leaves rich and flavorful umami.

Serving Suggestions

• For Traditional Green Tea (Matcha Espresso). Place 1 1/2 teaspoons of Matcha Nature Bio. Slowly whisk in 1/4 cup almost boiling water (180°F) and mix very well with a small whisk until it becomes frothy.
• For matcha lattes, add 3/4 cup milk to the traditional green tea (matcha espresso).
  Add honey or sugar to taste.
