Rules of Knife Safety
1. Always ensure that no one is within arms reach of you when you are using your knife.
2. Always cut away from yourself.
3. When performing finer work, try to get a thumb on the spine (back) of the blade.
4. Do not touch or move the knife toward anything you’re not willing to cut.
5. Keep the blade closed or sheathed until ready to cut.
