To make this high quality matchs, tencha tea leaves picked in the early spring are immediately steamed, dried, and stone-ground into a fine powder. This Organic Ceremonial Matcha has been produced according to the ultra strict guidelines of the JAS (Japan Agricultural Standard) and is certified organic. To prepare, dissolve 1/2 - 1 teaspoon (2-4 gram) of powder into 2 Oz of hot water. One tin should make around 15-30 cups of tea, depending on your preferred strength.
