Custom dyed in rich hues inspired by the changing seasons of Japan, these patched pocket tees combine contemporary cuts with traditional Japanese textiles, including sashiko stitching and tenasen hand printed fabrics.
At Kiriko, we believe in the values of Mottainai, which means that the old can be made new and everything can be used again. We never throw away leftover fabrics. Instead, we try to find new and innovative ways to use them. These shirts use different parts of scrap fabric making each one unique and one-of-a-kind.
