Jugetsudo's organic genmaicha is a mix of green tea, roasted brown rice, and matcha powder. The brown rice adds a warm and toasted flavoring, mellowing out the bitterness of the green tea, while the matcha powder adds a beautiful coloring and an umami kick. 

This organic green tea is roasted at a high temperature, which removes the bitterness normally present in green tea, and gives it a soft, sweeter flavor. This tea is lower in caffeine than steamed green teas, and gentler on the stomach.
