Description
Worn alone or layered with other pieces, our button-up shirts are a classic wardrobe staple, re-imagined with memorable details: a unique chest pocket, an eye-catching linear pattern, and wooden buttons. Made with a soft, loose-woven cotton fabric printed in Kyoto, these button-up shirts are comfortable and breathable. Each shirt features Japanese patterns and is sewn with traditional craftsmanship and care.
Asanoha (麻ノ葉) is a popular geometric Japanese pattern, representing hemp leaves. An important material particularly in pre-industrial Japan, hemp and other natural motifs often made their way into textile designs. As hemp grows fast and strong, it is meant to symbolize growth and good health.
