This Vintage Noragi jacket features partial sashiko stitching. Dating from the 1900s, this robe was made and worn by farmers or the working class. Rooted in the spirit of Mottainai, the Sashiko Noragi was traditionally worn by rural farmers and laborers. Crafted from indigo-dyed cotton or hemp, these working jackets were continually mended, reinforced, and transformed through dense sashiko stitching.
Carefully selected and imported from Japan, this vintage product is truly one of a kind. Once it is sold, no other will be in the same style. This product belongs solely to you.
Please note, jackets are sold as is. These truly vintage pieces exhibit slight signs of wear and a mild scent from decades in storage. Due to the age of the fabric, it may tear easily and have holes or stains.Â
