This series is made based on characters of the Seven Lucky Gods (七福神–shichifukujin). In Japanese mythology, the Seven Lucky gods are believed to grant good luck and are often represented in netsuke and in artworks.
Kawai Inc. Chopsticks are made in the Fukui prefecture in Japan. They were founded in 1943. Their main purpose is to keep the local tradition of Wakasa Nuri.
