Introducing our Kiriko Custom, Lee Jacket, Patched with Vintage Indigo Katazome with Maekake Apron.
A perfect blend of tradition and modern style, with patches of vintage Japanese fabric. Katazome is a traditional Japanese textile-dyeing technique using stencils (katagami) and a rice paste resist (nori) to create intricate, repeating patterns. Maekake are thick, durable indigo-dyed canvas waist aprons used for centuries by artisans and merchants, often featuring vintage logos. Sakiori is an eco-friendly "rag weaving" technique where old fabric strips are woven into new, durable cloth, sometimes used to make or repair these sturdy aprons.
