Introducing our high-quality 7.5 oz. Stretch Twill Officer Chino Trousers, a premium reproduction inspired by WWII military wear. Originating from China, these trousers were playfully dubbed "pantalones chinos" by American soldiers, adopting the Spanish term for "Chinese pants." By 1902, chinos were formally integrated into the official US Army uniform.
The WWII-era service chinos prioritized mobility, boasting a high rise and wide leg for freedom of movement. In contrast, our Officer Chinos are made in the US and feature a medium rise and a straight tailored leg silhouette, ideal for versatile wear across any occasion.
Experience the perfect blend of comfort and style with our unique pants, both back pockets trimmed with traditional Japanese textiles. The patterened trim fabric is produced using tenasen technique (hand screen-printed) in Kyoto, Japan.
