Making of Boro Tote Bag

We wanted to share the process of making our newest line of bag, Boro Tote Bag, because it is always good to see how the products are made, right? :)

We begin by finding fabric/boro pieces at our studio, selecting pieces that complement with each others, and sewing Sashiko stitches on certain places that needs them. With the base of #10 Wax Canvas and lined with #10 Oil Canvas these bag will be truly durable and long lasting.

After the inner pockets, tags, and antiqued brass magnetic snaps are attached, we move onto making handles for the bag.

From small leather pieces to cutting leather handles, every bits and parts are crafted with care.
